Salvador Dalí – Welcome into my brain

Salvador Dalí – Welcome into my brain

Rebellious, eccentric, surrealist, show stealer, painter, writer, director, sculptor, designer... these are just a handful of the words that could be used to describe the life of Salvador Dalí. He was certainly a man of many talents and many faces and undoubtedly one of the most important contributors to the Surrealist movement of the twentieth century.

Between 1 April and 31 October 2017, Esterházy Castle will host the surreal world of Salvador Dalí. The exhibition focuses on Dalí's illustrations of "The Divine Comedy”.  Dalí illustrated one of the most important books of the 14th century western culture in 100 coloured wood engravings.  At the same time, he gives an insight into his world of thoughts and feelings as we have never seen before.

The exposition called "Welcome into my brain" will be showing paintings illustrating some of the greatest universal literary pieces such as "Le Tricorn", "The Old Man and the Sea" and other classics of world literature.
